Little Women - Visual Hierarchy
When creating promotions and posters, visual hierarchy is important because it is what grabs a viewers attention and reels them in. The most important part of the image should be what gets their attention first. One of my favorite moves is Little Women, and I really like the style of this poster. I think one of the first things that catches my eye is the fun colors. The bright red, pale blue, vibrants yellow, and dusty orange are all aesthetically pleasing and complement each other well. I also think that the position of the words “Little Women” in the center of the poster draws my eye quickly so I know what the poster is advertising. The font is Sans Serif and in all caps and the letters are not in a perfectly straight line. I think this gives the font a playful, less sophisticated vibe.
